Koinonia is fellowship and communion with God and with fellow Christians. As Christians, we have fellowship with all who love the Lord, Our God, including the saints. And as Orthodox Christians, we ask for the saints in heaven to intercede for us, just as we ask our brothers and sisters here on earth to pray for us.
